Fail #2 Kneads more time in the oven

Baking bread for me is sometimes a little touchy, especially on the undercooked side of things. The things with bread is that when you realise the bread is undercooked, it is too late to put back in the oven, as the process has already been missed.

A sad-looking bread roll

This particular bread roll was in the centre, and as I put the trays too close to each other, there wasn't enough heat for the centre rolls. To fix this, place the smaller rolls in the centre of the tray and space our the rolls as much as possible. Also try to place the trays in the oven further apart in the oven and rotate the tray half-way through. Of course you can bake it for longer, but you run into the chance of overcooking the bread which will make it drier.

Undercooked bread is unsightly, but as long as it is not too undercooked, it is still perfectly fine to eat! You can also try pan fry the uncooked bread slightly with some butter.
